Purple Verbena - Homestead purple

Homestead Purple Verbena is a perennial in Zones 7-10. In my Zone (6) it's an annual. Plant verbena in beds to fill in between perennials. It has excellent trailing properties to spread and rapidly fill gaps in the garden. Verbena is also an excellent choice for window boxes and containers as it spills over the sides and offers a vigorous full-season splash of color. The foliage is robust and beautiful on it's own.
It attracts butterflies and hummingbirds-as well as the amazing hummingbird moth.
