Step 4. Pull out and curve the back right corner-making sure that it is big enough to plant a tree or a large bush. This will become a natural focal point when traveling the garden. Also, round off the back left corner. (Inverted like above)
Step 5. Plant 3 large specimens. One in each of the new bedding areas that you created. Ideally, you should have the largest tree or ornamental bush in the back corner. This will provide a dramatic background for everything else.
Step 6. Fill in with plants, paying attention to height. Keep smaller plants in front and taller ones in the back so you can enjoy the view from all angles. Make sure to include evergreens in the design for year-round beauty. Also, try to include a variety of bloom times. This way, each month something will be in bloom to contrast the foliage.

Step 7. Add a bench and a fountain. Enjoy your new space.
