Step 6. (Optional)
I added a white picket fence to frame the area. This creates the feeling of privacy and seclusion.
Step 7.
Fill in with plants, paying attention to height. I kept this design very simple. I used ostrich ferns in front of the picket fence and around the tree beds. Behind the picket fence I chose a taller ornamental grass. In the foreground, (in front of the picket fence) I added some caladuim for color. I then chose marguerite daisies to finish it off. When the beds were complete-I added stepping stones and a park bench.
Steps 8 & 9.
Grab a good book and a cool drink. Relax in your favorite corner.
